Behind the glitz and glamour of Hollywood lies the complex and creative world of filmmaking. A film internship can launch your career in this fast-paced, competitive industry, whether you want to be a producer, director, set designer, or screenwriter or even PR. Depending on the nature of the internship, you’ll learn the ins and outs of the industry and prove your mettle by assisting with lighting and equipment, supporting cast and crew on-set, editing videos in post-production, or handling administrative and office tasks.

Unable to be seen by the world, Wendy, an overprotective mom, hides the truth from her grieving daughter, Olivia, about her father, whose memories are left on a tape for every occasion.


Characters


Olivia Walters (Lead) 12 to 16 years old, African American, Female. Olivia is a young girl who has lost her father at a young age. She needs a bone marrow transplant to fight leukemia. When it comes to her dad, things can get heated. In every situation, she finds comfort in the recordings left by her dad. Very anti-social, Fragile, emotional, and headstrong.


Wendy Walters (Lead) 35-40 years old, African American, Female. Mother of the year to Olivia Walters. Wendy Walters is holding a secret about her ex-husband Mike. She must protect her daughter from the dark truth. Overprotective, kind, aggressive.


Tim (Lead) 35-40 years old, All Ethnicities, Male. Boyfriend to Wendy Walters. He treats Olivia as if she is his own. He gets Olivia, the two of them are extremely close. He respects the relationship Olivia has with her father. He does anything to protect Olivia and Wendy. Tall, Slim, Clean Cut.


Mike (Supporting) 25-30 years old, All Ethnicities, Male, Twin. Olivia's father. He has left video messages for Olivia. Must have a comforting, soothing voice, Preferably a twin. If not, a twin must be able to play both roles as Mike’s twin. Charming, Afrocentric, tall.
